This kit was really great, came quick and my crabs were active and healthy. Came with an adorable little tank and a palm tree. Totally cute. They are way heartier than goldfish, and my daughter loves having her own crabs as opposed to a fish that just sits in a tank. Was a great gift, I’ll be recommending these unique pets to others!

Bought this for my nephew who turned 9 years old. He LOVED IT!!! Mom said it was the best present yet. One of the hermit crabs died within a week of arrival and they quickly realized this kit wasn’t sufficient to have a hermit crab long term. I knew then when I purchased it, but wanted to at least get the ball rolling. This kit is not meant to be a permanent home for a hermit crab. They wouldn’t make it long in it because it is so small and doesn’t have the right environment, but it is a good start. She ended up going and getting him an aquarium and a new hermit crab. So, it was a great gift that inspired a terrarium, which was the point for me getting it. I give it 4 stars because they loved the gift so much, but probably less stars because it wasn’t fully functional and one of the crabs died. It was still worth it though1

Received this product in the mail this weekend and my son and I had a great time putting it together. We actually bought it for a birthday gift, but are now keeping this one and will be ordering a new one for the birthday. Live crabs are shipped, so must open package ASAP. There was one little missing item in the kit and I contacted the seller. Within hours, they had responded to me and fixed the issue. No questions asked, helpful and great attitude from the seller.
